PPJazz projects

In cooporation with the Music Inspired Art foundation, so far, in 2007, 2008 & 2009, Weijers coordinated for the Kunstwerkt foundation in Schiedam the PPJazz 2007, 2008 & 2009 exhibitions in Pand Paulus, Schiedam. The PPJazz exhibitions have been an integrated part of the Jazzart Rotterdam exhibitions that yearly took place during the North Sea Jazz Festival in Ahoy' Rotterdam.

An eclect international group of artists participated within these exhibitions and their common point of interest has been inspired by jazz music. Artists like for instance Horst Liepolt (US), Easton Davy (US), Joe Davis (US), Marita Beukers, Baron Wolman (US), Jim Marshall (US), Sam Phil (F), Nikolaj Dielemans, Ben Game, Frans Huisman, Dirk W. de Jong, Adrianus van Otterloo, Joke Schot, Jacques Tange, Karin de Visser and Ron Weijers participated so far with their work in these PPJazz exhibitions.

With the succesfull organisation of the last PPJazz 2009 exhibition, Weijers decided to focus on different challenges and concepts within the organisational field of art exhibitions and terminated his cooperation with the Music Inspired Art Foundation.
